Description
Rhode Island School of Design offers visitors a glimpse of the simply new, the innovative and a collection of decorative and fine art through the associated Museum of Art, a facility founded to showcase not only the efforts of the RISD's students as needed but other pieces of international and national importance as well. In addition to traditional mediums like paintings and sculpture, the RISD counts amongst its holdings textiles, furnishings, works by contemporary artists, Asian art, ancient artifacts and a long list of prints, photographs, and drawings.
