Airports
Block Island has its own airport called the Block Island State Airport. While the airport is not large enough to handle commercial airlines, charter flights are available from airlines such as New England Airlines and offer an alternate method of getting to the island. The nearest major airport is the T.F. Green Airport located in Warwick just off of I-95. Several large airlines such as Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, Continental Airlines, and more offer non-stop flights to major cities across the nation.
